Brief
Mentor Coach Certification course is for 3 months certification course offered in blended format for experienced coaches to learn to mentor other coaches. Participants learn a structured way of mentoring coaches while deepening their own learnings about coaching competencies. ICF core competency structure is the foundation of this program.
Structure
The program is total for 40 hours that can be covered over 3 months based on the practice. As part of this certification, below are requirements to be completed and submitted to receive the certification.
• 15hrs of Mentor coaching practice (Asynchronous)
• 03hrs of skill building through videos (Asynchronous)
• 15hrs of Mentor Coaching feedforward during classes (Synchronous)
• 07hrs of written reflection form (Asynchronous)
Submissions
Participants must submit following to receive the Mentor Coach Certification:
• 15hrs of Mentor coaching practice recordings
• Any 10 Reflection forms from coaching practice
Process Steps
Three months flexible program
• 15 coach mentoring sessions can be a combination of group and one to one coaching
• 3hrs of skill building through videos to be shared with the participants while joining the
program (Asynchronous)
• 5 hours of Mentor coaching practice each month (15hrs) (Asynchronous)
• Participant to block time on Mentor Coach’s calendar for feedback session over 3 months
for 10 times (Synchronous)
• Participant to submit 10 reflection forms from 15 recordings (Asynchronous)
